AFIC Halal Authority, its directors, managers, staff and others involved in the auditing
and certification of organisations fully understand the importance of carrying out its
Halal Certification activities in a fair and non- discriminatory manner.
We will ensure:
That procedures shall not be used to impede or inhibit access by applicants.
That our services are accessible to all applicants whose activities fall within the scope of our certification
That Certification shall not be conditional upon:
the size of the client
membership of any association or group
number of certifications already issued
There shall not be unreasonable financial or other conditions imposed to limit a client’s access to our certification services.
In addition to ensuring no “pre-audit” discriminatory constraints are placed in client’s paths, AFIC Halal Authority will ensure there are no “post-audit” discriminatory constraints either by confining our certification requirements, evaluation, review, decision and surveillance (if any) to those matters specifically related to the scope of certification.
AFIC Halal Authority management undertakes to abide by these guidelines in all our activities and also actively review and audit internal operations to ensure these guiding principles are understood and adhered to by the whole organisation.
